We are happy to inform you that XIII International charitable film festival Luchezarny Angel will take place from 28th October till 6th November. The main location is Karo October on the New Arbat.

2016 is known as a year of Russian cinema, year of Russian and Greece cultures and the 75th year from the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. So, the main theme of the festival is connected with these several points.
More than 300 films were submitted to the festival (55 - feature, 67 - feature shorts, 120 documental and 79 animation). As a result,contest program consists of 64 works from all the world (Russia, Spain, Iran, Armenia, Poland, Ukraine and other countries).

Jury of this year is presented by Russian directors Larisa Sadilova, Vladimir Fokin, Yuriy Kara, actors Lev Prygunov, Natalia Gvozdikova, Valentina Telichkina, producer Elena Glikman and film critic Vyacheslav Shmyrov. President of jury of feature films is Armen Medvedev. Special children jury is also will choose the best animation film.

The main aim of the festival is to attract children,teenagers and youngsters to the interesting actions, Russian culture and good deeds. They are considered to be the target audience of festival programs.

Festival is supported by Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill and Svetlana Medvedeva, who is also the head of organizing committee.

This project is realized by several partners as Fund of Social and Cultural Initiatives, Center of spiritual and moral culture Pokrov, Educational Committee of The Russian Orthodox Church and also The Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation and Moscow Government.
